In June we were gifted the free use of a room above a double garage. This is now the temporary Pulborough Shedders HQ. This is fantastic and has allowed us to progress the project from being just a concept to being a reality.

Over the summer we have been kitting out our temporary base, not only with the tools which have been donated, but also with flooring and work benches. We have also upgraded access to electrical points

Our longer-term aim is to build a purpose-designed workshop which will include disabled access. We have had a very positive meeting with the Parish Council at which we discussed what we hope to achieve.

Over the summer months we opened an account with Metro Bank. They were incredibly supportive of our project and helped us to “climb through the hoops.”

We have successfully registered as a charity which will prove fruitful as we begin to seriously fundraise to support the building of our permanent shed.

Artwork for the project has been very kindly prepared for us by an extremely talented member of the local community. We love the scarecrow drawing which is now our motif.

We (obviously) have a shiny new website and are working on new social media channels so you will never miss a beat!...

We have a committee of five, which includes a Chair, a Treasurer and a Secretary. The positions of Fundraising Manager and Marketing Manager remain vacant. If you think you may have the skills to help out with either of these positions, we would love to hear from you.

We currently meet on Wednesday mornings (09.30 to 12.30). We encourage anyone who may be interested in joining us to come in on any Wednesday morning, even before we officially open for a tea or coffee and a chat.
