Lakers Donations

One of the Shedders shared some exciting news this morning. Apparently there's going to be a general election in a few weeks time. After the kettle had boiled we discussed at length the pros and cons of various outcomes. Everyone had a view but we finally all agreed on one thing….. Three coats of protection on a bat box gives a far better finish than just the two.

Back in the real world, we were visited by Christian, the Manager of Lakers Builders Merchants. we enjoyed showing him our Shedding base and explaining to him what it is that we’re all about. The photo shows Christian donating PPE equipment and hand tools. This is not the first time that Lakers have supported us. They have kindly said that we can help ourselves to wood from their “rejects pile”. We use this for many of our projects. Lakers initially approached us (Not the other way around) and said they would like to support us. Another massive thank you to them.
