Lakers Paint Donation

What’s in a name? Well quite a lot it seems. Apparently the majority of FTSE 100 companies consider that an “attention grabbing” brand name gives them the edge in the marketplace.

And so it was that the conversation in the Shed this morning centered around what to call our new brand. We have received another generous offer from Laker Builders Merchants. They had about thirty cans of unopened paint of various types which they wanted to donate because they are moving to a different brand. Their first thought was to donate it to Pulborough Shedders. We gratefully took possession with the intention of selling it for Club funds.

Shedders now offer this wonderful product for sale at a fraction of the price asked for elsewhere. We proudly call our colour range “Hint of sawdust”.
