The Pulborough Shedders were given free use of the Community Table today at the Pulborough Saturday Market. A huge thank you to Louise Kaiser for gifting this to us. Being at the market helped us to spread the word of who we are and of what we do. It was lovely to meet a few people who assured us that they would come and check us out. Being there also allowed us to make a few pounds by selling excess tools which had been donated.
At close of play we still had for sale a fire pit made from a saved washing machine drum, and a petrol driven lawnmower. The lawnmower has a Briggs and Stratton engine and a 53cm wide cut. It also has a chipping facility. It has now been lovingly serviced by Shedder George who is an experienced mechanical engineer. George’s qualifications are so impressive that we are confident he could fix problems on the space shuttle if only NASA weren’t quite so proud.
